Flash STB is a player, not a TV service. We do not provide, sell, host, resell or bundle any television service, stream, channel, playlist or electronic programme guide. The application ships empty. Everything you watch comes from a provider you have chosen and pay independently, and you are responsible for making sure you are entitled to that content. Read our acceptable use policy.

Install the app
Download Flash STB from the app store on your TV or device. It installs like any other app — no sideloading, no developer mode, no USB stick.
Add your source
Open Settings and enter the portal address, playlist URL or login your own provider issued you. Flash STB stores it on the device and nowhere else.
Watch with your remote
Your provider's interface loads on screen. Navigate with the TV remote you already use. Nothing else to plug in.
A serious playback engine
All the parts you would expect from real set-top hardware, running as software on the TV.
Hardware-accelerated playback
Uses your device's native decoder for H.264, H.265/HEVC and MPEG-TS, so 4K plays without the stutter software decoding introduces.
Portal and playlist support
Connects to set-top portals or standard playlist formats. Whatever your provider issued, you enter it once and it persists.
Timeshift and archive
Pause, rewind and jump back through catch-up where your provider supplies it. Flash STB exposes the controls; the provider supplies the data.
Programme guide rendering
Renders the EPG your source provides, with a now-and-next strip and a full grid. We do not ship guide data of our own.
Audio and subtitle tracks
Switch language tracks, select subtitle streams, adjust audio delay. Passthrough for multichannel audio where the device supports it.
Credentials stay on device
Your source address and login are held in the app's local storage on your hardware. We do not transmit them to us, and we cannot read them.

The things people ask first
Does Flash STB come with channels?
No. The app is empty when installed and stays empty until you enter a source. We do not include, sell, recommend or link to any television service, stream, channel or playlist, and we have no commercial relationship with any content provider.
Where do I get a portal address or playlist?
From whichever IPTV provider you already subscribe to — they issue it to you when you sign up. We cannot supply one, and our support team is not permitted to help you find one.
How much does it cost?
Yes — CA$14.99 a year for one device, after the free seven-day demo. That pays for the player only. Your content provider bills you separately under their own terms, and we collect nothing on their behalf.
What happens if I replace my TV?
Nothing to transfer. Your subscription belongs to your Flash STB account, not the hardware — sign in on the new TV with the same email and password and it just works. One subscription runs one device at a time.
Do you keep a record of what I watch?
No. Playback happens directly between your device and your provider; it does not pass through our systems. We hold the minimum needed to run licensing — your email and phone, the MAC address on your account, each device's type, and activation status and purchase record. See the privacy policy.
